Painting, printing and stitch

​

I love being outside in the landscape. I try to capture something of the sense of space, which I find so inspiring, in my work. I work in paint, print and stitch. I am drawn to the expanse of sky and sea when walking along the beach; the feeling of space and freedom when walking in the hills, where lines seen on the sea, land and horizon are constantly changing, in different seasons, weathers and times of day. I hope to capture some of the fleeting changes in colours and moods of the land and seascapes in these semi- abstract paintings, collages and textiles.
